We are currently working on our 13" universal case product profile. We have compiled a list of top 13" laptops that are compatible with are various 13"TAC-1 case interiors and should have it up soon. We are also incorporating the data into our smart search function. Which allows you to type in your laptop model and it will direct you to the compatible case. Compatible laptops include: Hp Envy (Spectre), HP Folio 13, Sony Vaio S, Dell Vostro V130, Fujitsu Life Book S760, Toshiba Portege R835, Toshiba Portege Z835, Lenovo IdeaPad U260, Lenovo IdeaPad U300.

All the intel we have been able to gather on the iPad 3 dimensions is telling us to expect the same 9.7" screen. This will allow our TAC-1 ipad case to be completely compatible with both the iPad 2 and iPad 3. Excellent! Read More

The new year is upon us! As we reflect back on 2011 here a Mach 3 Composites we saw it as a year of development and refinement of new ideas. We prototyped and began the manufacturing process of our TAC-1 case line. Our goal was to design a product that was both simple and elegant on the exterior and allow the beauty of the carbon fiber to be the focal point. Clean lines and simplicity with an artistic feel. But beneath the simple and elegant design is structure that took us months to fine tune and find the proper balance. The constant question was asked how much more carbon fiber should we add and when is it to much? What is the right balance of strength,weight, and dimension? TAC-1 is the answer. Ahead in 2012 or focus will be on ramping up the production and adding additional sizes to the TAC-1 family. iPad, 15", and 17" are all on the way. Plus we have some exciting innovative ideas that we will be prototyping this year that promise to be advanced and unlike any carbon fiber product on the market. My summation would not be complete without saying "Thanks" to all our customers who pre-ordered the TAC-1 and then tolerated my obsessive compulsiveness for perfection and refinement. They all stuck with us while we endured what seemed like a never ending series of adjustments and in some cases a whole new approach to manufacturing. I wish you all a safe and happy 2012.

We continue to move forward with our TAC-1 case production and have made excellent progress. As always when bringing a new product into production you hit speed bumps along the way that tend to slow initial production down. We continue to work through minor adjustments with the end goal of bringing the finest carbon fiber cases to our clients. New molds will be added shortly that will expand theTAC-1 product line market and will be available for a variety of laptops and tablets. About 3-4 years ago I was on a trip in Mumbai, India. After arriving at the hotel, I went to retrieve my laptop from my suitcase. I believe it is critical to keep your clients and followers updated about our progress in the TAC-1 case production line. As one would expect adjustments are always part of the process when going from prototype to production. The goal is to deliver the coolest, most advanced carbon fiber case on the market and deliver it with first rate customer service. When establishing a production line for a new product you have to develop each step in the process and incorporate the materials in the most efficient manner. You always make discoveries along the way on how to improve the process and take the performance of your materials right to the edge of the envelope. That is exactly what we have been doing at Mach 3 Composites. We evaluate each step and analyze the results. Some minor adjusts are being made in mold pressure, resins, adhesives and interior padding depth for optimization in fit and shock absorption. The end result will impact our projected shipping schedule by about two weeks.
