As mentioned in a previous post, now that the new iPad is in the hands of our customers they were able to confirm that our smart cover compatible carbon fiber case does fit on the new Apple iPad. The framework of this case is molded ABS frame with inlayed carbon fiber. The ABS material has a stiff rubber feel to it. I really liked adding this material into the mix because it does offer shock absorbing qualities. The installation process is simple. The preferred method is to heat up the frame with a simple hair dryer for a minute or two. As the frame heats up it will become more flexible and slightly expand. Next, snap the frame onto your new iPad. It will quickly form to it and provide a secure protective fit. It's that simple. We have been given the news by one of our customers that our ipad 2 smart cover compatible carbon fiber case will work on the new iPad. Why would anyone spend 200 dollars on a carbon fiber case? I am writing you today not as the president of Mach 3 Composites but as fan and customer. You see the idea of our carbon fiber cases was not to start a company but to be a solution. With the extensive traveling I was doing and the amount of abuse my laptop was taking I set out to find a hard case solution to my own travel needs. So what started out as making a few phone calls somehow quickly turned into a passion. With carbon fiber as our medium, we started sculpting with a vision to not only build the best cases but also provide the best customer service to go with it.
